M.D.Sara Long Jones, M.D.
Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician
- Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS)
- Outpatient Primary Care Specialist
What I enjoy most about primary care is the opportunity to be a part of a patient's health journey over time. I want to get to know my patients, understand what matters most to them, and find practical ways to help them optimize their health. There is something especially rewarding about watching people grow and thrive from this perspective. I genuinely enjoy nurturing their potential, whether through helping someone make meaningful lifestyle changes, managing a chronic condition, or simply being a trusted physician through different stages of life.
I believe good primary care requires applying the best available evidence thoughtfully to the individual. I enjoy putting all the pieces together to develop a plan that is both scientifically sound and appropriately tailored to the person sitting in front of me.
