I guide my primary care practice through a strategy centered on evidence-based medicine and patient empowerment. I strive to listen closely to each patient's unique health story, framing medical guidance around current clinical best practices so patients feel fully informed and in control of their health decisions. By working together proactively, we can focus on staying healthy for the long term. Developing these strong, supportive relationships with my patients is what makes primary care so deeply rewarding.
Background & Experience
Dr. Rama is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and the Founder and Medical Director of Magnolia Primary Care LLC. She has proudly called Huntsville home since 2013.
She earned her medical degree through competitive merit at Government Medical College in Trivandrum, India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama (UAB) Huntsville Regional Medical Campus in 2019, where she distinguished herself as Chief Resident and received multiple teaching and clinical excellence honors.
Outside of Medicine
Her interests outside of the clinic include indoor plants, gardening (except brushing against poison ivy), painting, home organization, interior designing, Yoga, dancing, Karate, and exploring local hiking trails around Huntsville with her husband and son.
